Coconut palms come from almost any tropical environment on earth.
Grows up to 80-100 feet tall.
Takes around 6-10 years to grow coconuts.
Coconuts are brown or green, the green coconut are used for drinking the water inside and their very delicious and brown coconuts are sometimes used for eating the meat.

Native to northern Mexico and the south west parts of the United States like Arizona, California, Texas and New Mexico
Grows up to 70-100 feet tall


Sago Palm
Scientific name: Cycas revolute
Native to New Guinea, Southern Japan and parts of the subtropics
Grows up to 10 feet tall
They grow a large flower in the very center and they only bloom once every 4-3 years and the flowers look like a cone
They are from the Cycadaceae family
The sago palm is extremely poisonous to both and animals and humans


Queen Palm
Scientific name: Syagrus romanzoffiana
Native to South America and parts of Florida
They can grow up to 50 feet tall
Queen palms have a very tall smooth trunk. The fronds can be very large and they look like a large feather with leaflets sticking out around each frond and queen palms are a very beautiful and popular palm tree
They produce huge bundles of seeds after the tree flowers and the seeds have orange flesh around them


California Fan Palm
Scientific name: Washingtonia Filifera
Native to southwestern California and southern United States
Grows up to around 70 feet tall
They are a desert fan palm and look very similar to Mexican fan palms. the difference is, Washingtonia filiera gets a bigger and fatter trunk


African Fan Palm
Scientific name: Borassus Aethiopum
Native to Africa.
They can grow up to 85 feet tall.
The palm produces fruits that are enjoyed by elephants.
The seeds grow a long taproot that can grow 18 inches long down into the soil.
